Had an amazing stay! The cozy room offered amazing views, and Frederique's homemade breakfast was a highlight. The only downside was the small bathroom, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

    disruptive noise

Staying at Clifden Bay Lodge was a delightful experience. The views from our double room were absolutely stunning, overlooking the tranquil bay. Every morning, Frederique prepared a homemade breakfast that included fresh fruit, a traditional Irish fry, and delicious pastries. The cozy room had plenty of storage and was very comfortable. I appreciated the high-quality toiletries in the spacious ensuite bathroom. Only downside was hearing some snoring from the adjacent room at night, which was a bit disruptive. Overall, the warmth of Frederique's hospitality made the stay really special.

Some areas of the room could benefit from a facelift, and the open-plan design made it tough to enjoy quiet activities without feeling too exposed. Lack of additional shelving left little room for organizing personal items.

    Breathtaking views and warm hospitality

Upon waking every morning, I was greeted by the gentle sound of seabirds and stunning views of the Atlantic, making my stay truly memorable. Frederique’s breakfast, including the delightful fruit salad, was a delicious treat.

While the lack of a television added to the peacefulness, I did miss having more shelves to organize my belongings during the stay, which would have added to the comfort.

The property could benefit from some renovation!!! The open plan layout makes communal dining or games feel awkwardly noisy!!! Upgrading the mattresses would be a worthwhile investment for guest comfort!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views from our room overlooking the bay. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home, and Frederique's hospitality was heartwarming. The homemade breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful mix of local flavors and fresh ingredients.

The bathroom could use a bit more space to improve overall comfort.
